Description
Automatic license plate readers (ALPR/ANPR/LPR) are used to track the movement of motor vehicles.
Some of these uses are reasonable, like automation of billing in a parking lot with no data retention.
Other uses are more questionable, such as the wholesale tracking of all motorists in the United States by Flock Safety.
