Description
wkd-tester is a free, open-source validator for the OpenPGP Web Key Directory (WKD) standard. WKD lets you locate someone’s PGP key by email: it lowercases your address’s local-part, hashes it with SHA-1, encodes that digest in Z-Base-32, and then checks the appropriate “.well-known” URI. wkd-tester automatically tries the Advanced Method (via an openpgpkey sub-domain) and falls back to the Direct Method only if the sub-domain doesn’t exist—just like the spec requires.
