Ekala
Building efficient, economical tools for declarative system environments and reproducible builds.
Description
Project Ekala represents a fundamental evolution in store-based systems, focusing on making reproducible builds and package management more accessible and maintainable. Our ecosystem consists of several key components:
- The Atom format for reproducible and verifiable package definitions
- Eos, an advanced build scheduler optimizing evaluation and caching
- A powerful CLI interface making store-based systems accessible
- Automated tools for maintaining large package sets
- A modular ecosystem enabling seamless extension
We preserve the core strengths of reproducible builds while dramatically improving developer experience, package maintenance, system scalability, and code reuse. Our tools are designed with both power and usability in mind, making complex system management accessible to a broader audience.
The project encompasses multiple open-source components including the Eos scheduler, the Eka CLI, the innovative Atom module system, and carefully curated package sets. We're building a community-driven ecosystem that values ethical practices and productive collaboration.
Join us in creating the future of store-based systems, where security, reproducibility, and user experience are fundamental properties rather than afterthoughts.
